Factory-Built Multi-Wall Grease Duct

Heavy duty multi-wall design reduces skin temperatures, decreasing combustible clearance requirements and transferring less heat to the surrounding environment.
Light-weight easy-to-handle lengths can be assembled and installed easily by one person without using special tools thus lowering field installation costs.
All fittings are laser cut to exacting UL standards and all welding is done at the factory. Each individual piece is rigorously tested for material integrity, structural stability, and skin temperature.
All four models feature double-wall construction: Model PA has a 1" air space between the shell and liner; Models P1, P2A and P4 combine air spaces with the added benefit of high density ceramic fiber insulation.

Shebler Grease Ducts are assembled on site without welding from light-weight, easy-to-handle prefabricated components.

Components

Components available in even and odd diameters ranging from 6" to 48" (larger diameters available upon request up to 60" diameter and larger).

Standard components include: Straight Sections, Adjustable Lengths, Expansion Joints, Tee's, Elbows, Wyes, Drain Sections and Tees, Increasers, Rain Caps, Roof Penetrations, guides and support members. In addition, virtually any conceivable fitting is available as a special order item.

Standard ducts feature a Type 304 stainless steel liner (sufficient for most applications) and an aluminized steel outer shell. For increased resistance to the corrosive effects of combustion byproducts, Type 316 stainless steel is available for the liner and either Type 304 or 316 stainless steel steel for the shell. For exterior sections that are not easily accessible for periodic painting, a Type 304 stainless steel outer shell requires no maintenance.

Standard liners are 20 gauge steel; standard shells are 22 gauge aluminized steel. Fittings larger than 24" Ø feature 18 guage steel; pipe larger than 36" Ø uses only 18 gauge steel.

All Schebler components are subjected to structural tests, wind load tests, and skin temperature tests.

Notes

These chimneys are to be installed as per the Schebler Co. installation instructions. They are not to be enclosed within combustible construction. An unenclosed chimney may be placed adjacent to walls of combustible construction at the clearances specified.

All systems ship with S2000 UL Listed sealant. Sealant must be used for all applications where the flue temperature will be over 600°F and up to 2000°F.

Standard warranty is for one (1) year from date of system startup; warranty is extended to 10 years for Schebler-designed systems; contact Schebler at 563.359.0110.
